COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Enjoy a creative take on a classic summer style, made with spicy rye malt and pink peppercorn for a zesty and refreshing thirst-quenching brew. Available exclusively at Arbor Brewing Company, with $1 per pint donated to support “Top of the Park”. Festival Saison was created and offered in partnership with the Ann Arbor Summer Festival. It is on tap exclusively at ABC Brewpub and we donate one dollar from each pint sold to help support the festival. The fruitiness and mild hopping of this beer make it a perfect pairing for foods with heat like Jamaican Jerk or spicy barbecue. Also great with citrusy salads and pork.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, citrus, grape and orange. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long dry, bitter and citrus fruity finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. It’s a hazy, yellowish golden beer with a dense finger thick white head. Some lacing. The aroma is on the fruity side, with citrus zest, grass and a spiced yeast touch. It’s dry, smooth and full to medium bodied, with a nice bitterness. A little malty sweetness and pine cones, citrus zest and a yeast touch. Long dry and citrusy finish with a good bitterness. Nice and refreshing. 150615

On tap: The aroma us very light with just a hint of apple and spice. It’s a hazy gold with a small soapy white head. The flavor starts with starts with a hint of honey and apple. The finish has some light grassy flavors with minimal spice. It’s light bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, you could tell me this was a light lager and I wouldn’t think you were lying.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours gold with a light haze and a white head. Light yeasty aroma with a touch of honey. Yeasty bubble gum and clove flavor with herbal qualities and a dusty dryness. Decent, but unexciting.

Cloudy gold. No hear. This is a nice beer, but by far the mildest in the lineup. Not much of the spice comes through.
