Bottle, 33 cl, at Papsø, thanx. Massive thick black with almost no head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, cocoa, herbs and lemony hops. Flavor is sweet and bitter with strong licorice accents, fruity and herbal hops. Texture is syrupy, body is full. Long dry finish, full body. Smooth, delicious.

Rich body, lowish carbonation, heavy roast, ashes and dust and again some dark dried fruit. Bitterish, warming finish. Good apart from the horrible smell. 220413

Full body, oily/syrupy texture, near flat carbonation. Light astringent bitter with warming alcohol. Long dry finish with warming alcohol. Good.

Roasted caramel aroma, vanilla, chocolate, creamy, cocoa powder, licorice notes, hazelnuts, toffee, coffee, cookie dough, raisins, soot, some alcohol, some prunes. Roasted cocoa powder flavor, raisins, prunes, vanilla, warming alcohol, salty, soot, coffee notes, creamy, chocolate, some woody notes. Full bodied. Very nice roasted finish with prunes, soot, tar, chocolate and some bitterness. Lovely beer!

Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark roasted, chocolate, alcohol, licorice, salt licorice. Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark brown pour with minimal tan head, big boozy aroma, thick engine oil consistency, molasses taste quite sweet big alcohol hit, raisins vanilla. Really good.
