On tap at MBGSF 2014. Pours an orange amber. Raspberry and Sweet Tarts (the candy) aroma. Flavor gives even more Sweet Tarts, some tart berries: raspberry, strawberry, and eventually cherry. I should note the Sweet Tarts isnít a knock against it: this is actually really good.

tap. Red with small head. Thereís some tartness, but this isnít sour in the same way that I associate with Belgian lambics. Nonetheless, thereís excellent raspberry flavor, and this is very pleasant.

Nose seems more cherry than raspberry/strawberry. Based on the picture on the label, I expected something more pink in color and thus fruitier like a Lindemans. Fruit is actually very subtle and doesnít bring a whole lot to the party. Sourness is excellent. The best Arbor beer Iíve had.

Draft at Logan's Alley - pours a bright slightly transparent red . Big farmhouse funk with mild raspberry on the nose . Taste is a medium sour with some fresh raspberry . Excellent sour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2014 Bottle: Muddled orange-y amber, almost completely opaque with a white-ish head that dissipates to a chunky collar rather quickly. Aroma has nice notes of strawberry, vinegar, wet oak, lemon, & heavy lactic type acid... Definitely smells like itíll be sour. Raspberry is present, but strawberry is heavier for sure. Sure enough... nice puckering tartness up front. Vinegar, lemon skin acidity, strawberry notes, lacto sourness, light raspberry, sweet-tarts, & a finish of oak & fading tartness. Quite tart, vinegar-y fruited sour... I really like this one, definitely one of the best things Iíve had from Arbor.

No head at all even with a heavy pour. A ruby red color and raspberry and vinegar aroma. Almost gueuze like aroma. Taste is initially raspberries then the strawberry blends in and makes its presence as the sip goes down. Itís actually pretty watery throughout. Some tartness shows its face at the very end on the tongue with some carbonation. The gueuze like qualities make a return in the end with some funky tart lemon feel. Not too bad overall but low for the style.

Light red color. The sour taste is difficult to stomach. The raspberry and strawberry does little to add to the enjoyment of the beer. One of the least enjoyable beers I have had.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, 2012 vintage. Pours lightly hazy reddish orange color with a small dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big tart raspberry, raspberry skin, strawberry, oak, clove, pepper, hay, grass, straw, funk, red wine, vinegar, light leather, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruit, yeast, and oak barrel notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart raspberry, strawberry, oak, clove, hay, grass, straw, pepper, red wine, vinegar, funk, light leather, and yeast earthiness. Large amount of acidic sourness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart raspberry, strawberry, oak, clove, pepper, hay, straw, grass, red wine, vinegar, funk, light leather, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity and balance of tart fruit, oak, and yeast flavors; with a good balance of malt/acidity and minimal cloying flavors after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a slick, moderately syrupy, and very acidic mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent fruited sour ale. All around great complexity and balance of fruit, yeast ester, and oak barrel flavors; and quite smooth to sip on despite sizable acidity. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours murky cherry rose with no head. Aroma brings tart cherries and some warm pie notes. Body is super dry, tart cherries are tasting great.
