Cask-conditioned at the Watershed Cafe, Bristol 31/3/09. Amber coloured with no head. Aroma was sweetish, with some caramel, a touch of honey and floral notes. Flavour had some mellow honey upfront, with a hint of malt roastiness and more floral stuff - whether this was from the honey or the hops I know not. Ending with a decent enough bitter finish, This was a drinkable beer.

Cask @ Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico SW1. As Hunny Beer. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak caramel aroma. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with hoppy hints. Has a sweetish malty hoppy finish.

Cask handpull at Craft Beer Co. Hunny Beer. Clear copper gold with lasting off white head. Honeyish aroma. Bit plain in mouth with hints of honey. Tasty enough in good nick. Its a relatively decent honey beer. With a fair bit of honey to be honest.

Scopey (1658) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 9, 2011
Cask at Cask Pub and Kitchen under the name of "Hunny Beer". It pours clear golden yellow, with a decent, fluffy white head. The nose is sweet honey, caramel, hay and straw. The taste is hay, straw, honey sweetness, biscuit, lemon and lime, with a decent bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent balance, thankfully the honey is not overdone. Ok, but not particularly exciting.

Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival, 05.02.11 Pours amber touch hazy with some white bubbles clinging to the side of the glass. Aroma is predictably quite sweet. Honey and caramel with a little citrus, touch of banana, fruity, and yet whilst ok it’s not really my thing. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0
