(tap) Clear, light golden colour, small white head, good lacing. Moderate hoppy aroma of grapefruits, light malty notes, honey. Taste stars with light bitterness that becomes stronger towards the finis. Light body. Soft, almost flat carbonation. Very "sessionable", light and refreshing ale with subtle aroma.

Decent light beer, tastes a lot like an English IPA, less heavy on the hop more of a watery citrus tang.

Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow - clear deep yellow, medium off-white head, citrus and pine aroma, grassy, resin, citrus flavour, carbonation on the high side, dry finish, bitter aftertaste

Cask at Holborn Whippet, London on 30th January 2013. Gold with thin white foam. Rich and intense fruitiness and floral hop in aroma and in mouth, with soft citrus. Floral and fruity finish, but not overly sweet. Zingy mouthfeel and medium to light body.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2013 Tap at Holburn Whippet. It pours golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is lemon meringue pie, subdued citrus, faint grass and light fruity notes. The taste is pithy citrus, soap, grass and only a light bitterness with a clean, dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Easy drinking, but not up to the usual standard of arbor. Not much in too it really....

[cask at the Hanging Bat, Edinburgh] Clear, pale golden yellow beer with a decent white head. Nose is mostly soft lemon, like a meringue pie almost. Quite citrussy on the flavour too – but with more grassy, herbal hops and some bready malt. Lemon and lime citrus on the finish. Decent [18012013]

Cask @ Hanging Bat AROMA: grass, barnyard, grapefruit APPEARANCE: pale, clear, minimal head, white foam, TASTE: very bitter, PALATE: light body, thin feel, soft carbonation, bitter, OVERALL: hoppy as to be expected, not too American hoppy, bit too thin although it is only 3.8ABV; nothing for it to make it distinctive.

Cask @ The Holborn Whippet. The pour’s light gold with a small head. The nose is sweet grapes, grass, orange peel, apples. Pale malt. The taste is light citrus, lemon peel. Light marmalade and white bread. Cake dough. Light body, soft carbonation. Overall, nice stuff. A decent golden.

Pale golden, custard/hay taste I’ve come to recognise in arbor pale beers, not quite my thing. Gentle carbonation, medium body, lemon pith, pleasing dry bitter finish.
