RATINGS: 1 MEAN: 3.1/5.0 WEIGHTED AVG: 2.88 EST. CALORIES: 171 ABV: 5.7% COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Cask; Regulsr. A deceptively easy drinking IPA style special bitter, with a lingering dry hoppy finish. Using the same blend of Maris Otter, Crystal and Wheat malts found in our session bitter, Hornbeam is brewed to a much higher original gravity. This is balanced by a liberal addition of Northdown hops at the start of the boil, with two further additions of Challenger hops to leave a slightly fruity aftertaste.
