Hazy pale gold, light white head. Pretty soapy english hops nose, mostly floral nature with restrained biscuity malts. Dry in mouth, heavily hoppy for a bitter, yet keeps its english character thanks to a good hop picking, herbal and soapy. Heavy carbonation seems a bit too intense, light-medium body. Rather average, but I’m stonished that this is only 3.25%

I really liked this one. Great malt. Not too sweet. Good lingering bitterness. Great bitter.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy gold with a thin white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had light pine notes with accompanying grass and floral notes. Flavor was a bit more bitter with pine hops with grass and hay underlying.

En arbor brewery. Todas las cervezas tienen un toque ingles (UK) notable. Esta es muy tipica estilo de los hooligans

This poured an amber color with a big white head, Aroma was very mild, light toasted malts and not much else. Flavor was very bland tool, light roasted malts and very watery.

Draft @ Arbor Brew Co. First beer with fish & chips meal. This newbie’s first ever bitter style. Very similar taste to my IPA experience (hoppy), yet different. Malt balancing hops? I would have enjoyed another, but wanted to sample other offerings.

light brown with large white head. some bitterness before a lot of citrusy and grassy english hops, lmild crystal malt presence. overall, a good version of the style, maybe a little heavy on the hop flavor for the style, but very enjoyable

Draft at brewpub. Pours golden amber with a retentive off white head. Fruity ale ester and wet grain aroma. Lighter side of medium bodied with soft carbonation. Flavor or toffee and caramel accented by a balancing dose of European hops. Very characteristic of UK bitters. Enjoyable

Tap at the brewpub - clear golden beer - a very authentic bitter, with the hard water mineral character to make you feel like your all the way across the pond - nice and dry, with moderate bitterness that becomes more apparent as it warms - light bread and dough - nice session beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Light bread sugar and spicy English hop aroma. Airy and enjoyable. Pours a weighted gold, with no head. On the tongue, it moves gracefully with sprightly bright sugars balanced by the really nice spicy hop flavor, oaky bitterness, and mineral qualities. Very fresh tasting hop flavor, not too bitter. This beer moves as very dry and clean. Nice hop work in a deliciously drinkable style. Not thin, either, for the light weight.

sample at brewpub. Golden color, small head. The hops are prominent but not overdone. Mild and smooth and not too bitter. A solid brew.
