Cask, Special;
It’s an 8% imperial IPA brewed with ten different hops from around the globe. It’s seriously hoppy and really quite bitter. And, it’s matured in French oak barrels.

Cask, Nottingham Fest 09. Hazy amber with a thin head. Aromas are spiced oranges with crystalised Autumn fruit, especially pear. Quite earthy hops. Flavours are resinous grapefruit with spiced oranges and hints of chocolate. Caramel malts but mostly very hoppy. Quite authentic.

Cask-conditioned at the Old Stillage, Bristol 29/08/09. Deep amber, with a moderate, tight white head. Aroma of orange fruit, spice and caramel malts. Flavour began with some toffee, apricots, followed by citrus hops. Hints of spice, earthiness and a big dry finish followed, with a hint of warmth. Alcohol was well hidden and avoided the syrupiness of many strong beers. Very enjoyable.
