3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ Richardís Tasting. Hazy orange colored beer with a white head. Sweet aromas of honey, bread, and toast. Hop profile is lacking. Notes of grass, orange, and mild pine. Sweet, malty taste. Big bread and honey notes. Meh. Light pine and grass bitterness with subtle orange hop character. Kind of watery, too.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours hazy/cloudy orange amber color with a 1-2 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big pineapple, tangerine, lemon zest, peach, orange peel, floral, grass, light caramel, light pine, bread, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright hop and moderate malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big pineapple, tangerine, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Good amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon/orange zest, pine, floral, grass, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops with moderate malt balance; with a good malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a lightly creamy, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice DIPA. Good balance and complexity of bright hops and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle pour to shaker. Hazy brown-gold. Subdued hops and malts. Sweet apple without tartness. Not a typical citrusy/hoppy IPA. Interesting.

3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
A sweeter take on the peel-the-enamel-off-your-teeth ipa. Fruity hop aroma with a lot of sweetness apparent in the aroma. Taste is sweeter than it should be. Itís not so much a malt body as it is a blanket of sweet that makes an attempt to balance the hops. It does, sort of, but itís unique in the way that it does it. I like it but a lot but a lot of people I drank it with didnít like it at all. The sweetness almost seems unnatural like it was added afterward. Overall itís an enjoyable beer, definitely worth a try but itís not something that you should feel too bad if you miss.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy, unfiltered amber pour. Huge frothy creamy foamy white head. Smell is citru and tropical, a bit light. Flavor is big and sweet, boozy, like a barleywine. The sweetness is intensely tropical. A sweet and boozy but decent ipa.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; malty though. A hazy dark burnt orange with foamy off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells solid; juicy and piney hops with a big sweet pale malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with more of a citrus than pine hop profile. Average on the palate (the abv shows a bit). Good, not great.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A murky amber color without much of a head. Has a grapefruit aroma. Taste is hoppy with a dry finish. Pretty decent. Better as you drink more.

$5.50 for a pint at Boat Works in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
Mr. Delicious pours sort of an orange sort of color... a bit hard for me to remember as I had a BIIIIT too much to drink after having this. Looked beautiful though with a finger or two of head and great lacing for much of the drink. Probably the best part of the beer. The smell and taste is also quite fruity/juicy, with a solid bitterness as well from piney notes. Medium thickness and medium-or-so carbonation. Really tasty stuff. The orange flavor with tropical notes really makes this a tasty juicy choice for fans of fruitier IPAs. The only thing about the brew is that while it has some solid characteristics and a nice flavor, I still feel like it needs "more." The alcohol is hidden flawlessly, as it drinks like a 6 or maybe 7% beer.
I havenít had many at all from Arbor, but this is the best of theirs that I have had. Iíd definitely order it again. Very good.

fresh bottle olden colour, hop aroma. The taste is better as it warms, decent drinkability. Long finish.
