Commercial Description: The Olde number 33 recipe was perfected by Dr. Nick as a homebrew recipe and then brewed by Master Brewer Matt “Not My Job” Greff, Dr. Nick and Dannyboy on the 7 bbl system for your enjoyment. It is the Olde #22 jacked up by 50%, the result is an amazingly creamy and smooth dark ale with a subtle roastiness and a dry finish.
On tap. Pours brown with a small soapy white head. Aroma is caramel, light grains, floral hops. Flavor is caramel, grains, citrus. Palate is medium bodied, mild carbonation, finished sweet. Decent, though a little on the watery side.
