3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thanks to Notalush. Poured a clear mahogany and a thin off-white head. The aroma smells like glue and caramel. The flavor was mildly tart with notes of caramel and cola. Light-medium body.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle - hazy amber beer - aroma is doughy and vegetal, with some ambiguous fruit notes - tart and earthy flavor, with some doughy sweetness underneath - a wee bit of cherry - not much else happening here.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This one will sneak up on you if you are not careful (I speak from experience). So easy drinking and rather strong... bad combo. But oh so delicious.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted 5/16/08. 12oz bottle. Hazy and opaque brown hue. Moldy ring of bone white head. Toasty with a slight raisin and fudge and cocoa aroma. Sweet sugary malts. Very sweet. Syrupy sweet with a slight bitterness. Mild effervescence. Sweet breads. Medium to full bodied and sticky. Slight hoppy character. Good esters. Apples and berries. Less sweet and more tart as it warms. Slight orange and graham cracker flaovr. Good tart citrus note. Nice roast and yeast character. Lingering finish. Very nice!

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at HDG. Aroma has a nice baked cinnamon bun thing going on along with a creamy head. Taste is lightly spiced with clove and vanilla. Some sweetness balanced this out really well. Very tasty stuff.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at HDG Daze. Aroma is very earthy. Some dirty spices seem to cover much of the flavor that wants to shine. Mostly alcohol comes through the mellow fruit and sweetness. A bit watery.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at HDG Daze of the Devil. Deep brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is very plummy and fruity. Deeply malty with a bit of molasses and caramel. Not very spicy at all, but is quite plummy and sweet. The yeast is pretty subtle. It’s a pretty nice beer, but I wouldn’t tag it as a dubbel.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at HDG for Daze of the Devil II. Pours a deep brown with reddish highlights and a small fizzy white head. Aroma of chocolate, yeast and sugar. Flavor was a little more bitter then I was expecting with yeasty bread and even some slight chocolate or dark fruit showing up. If your gonna drink this have a lot of em, I have a feeling that by the fourth or fifth one they start to get really good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
pretty basic for a dubbel but better than i thought it was gonna be...noticeably lacking carbonation, pours a deep, reddish brown with n head..aroma of pungent prune, raison and chocolate, with hints of butter...flavor is pretty complementary, with added aspect of heavy spice and bread...not bad, but nothing special
