This traditional Belgian-style triple is strong, fruity, and slightly sour. It starts with a big malt presence, followed up by a pronounced candy sugar sweetness, and balanced with a spicy hop finish. A must-try. Ask your server for a taste!

pours unclear bright golden with a nice white cap showing offering some retention and shy lacing patterns. sweet honey and belgian yeast upfront, doughy sweet honeyed malts, very spicy - pepper, but also cloves, nutmeg and other indian spices, boozy and hot, some fruitiness - relatively linear though - white grape juice perhaps, some woodsy notes - vanilla is fairly present, grass. lively to average carbonation, medium body - oily and sticky; semi-sweet and herbal-grassy-spicy lightly astringent finish. decent interpretation.

I’m a big fan of belgian style ales. This has a good aroma to start. The color has a nice darker hazy look with a good amount of vizable carbonation. The taste is malty with a good amount of spice and a bit of sweetess that makes this a good beer to sip. The finish is slightly tart but it makes this beer very drinkable since you keep going back for more. I love to drink this with a hearty beef stew. Caramel, nuts, toast, roasty, woody, raisin

Let it burn! This Tripel has a solid amount of alcohol and you feel every bit of it. It like a giant glass of malted pineapple. It’s good heavy beer made for sipping.

12 ounce bottle into chalice, no bottle dating. Pours very hazy golden amber color with a small fairly dense white head with ok retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Minimal spotty lacing on the glass. Aromas of big banana, pear, clove, apple, pepper, bubblegum, earth, herbal, and yeast spiciness. Very nice aromas with good strength, complexity, and balance. Taste of apple, pear, banana, clove, bread, pepper, honey, earth, candi sugar, caramel, herbal, and yeast spiciness. Lingering notes of light fruits, banana, clove, pepper, bread, earth, and yeast spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Good flavor balance and complexity; minimal cloying flavors present on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a fairly creamy and slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a nice Tripel. Good flavor complexity and balance; and quite smooth to sip on. I enjoyed this one quite a bit.

12 ounce bottle
A bottle of unknown origin I thought I’d give this a shot as the temperatures began to climb. A decent tripel I am not sure that Arbor Brewing is very high on my short term radar. Having visited once and sampled a couple of their releases they simply don’t appeal to my palate.

Aroma / Appearance - The bubbly white head grows way too quickly. A cloudy body is the color of dull copper. Caramel, cotton candy, and yeast are fine. The chewy syrupy texture however is not. Subtract that and you have a better experience.

Flavor / Palate - Honey, granny smith apples, and caramel provide a texture like apple cider spiked with a bit of alcohol. Dry, warm, and filling, the mouthfeel is substantial yet somehow lacking. This isn’t a terrible tripel but one that feels as if it could be something more.
