3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Goblincat (372) - Westland, Michigan, USA - DEC 1, 2007
12oz - The aroma is a blend of candy, malt, and spice. The taste seems to be a blend of candy sugar and some spices, with a bit of pepper and alcohol.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Zinister (1423) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 29, 2007
Bottle from hoppymeal. Pours a dirty gold with absolutely no visable carbonation...had me worried. Solid Belgian yeast, fruit and spiced nose. Mouthfeel is a bit viscious, but has a nice covering of the palate. Very limited carbonation, which hurts its rating. The taste is a bit cloying with sweetness...although I do get some apricots, bananas and lemons in there. It’s almost like they forgot to ferment the wort...or if they did they had lousy attenuation.

Another flat beer from Arbor---few bubbles and little head. Nice fruity/spicy taste however, Cloudy brown color with solid body.

Murky orange-brown body, thin off-white head. Strong spicy nose with bold pineapple and other fruits. The first thing I notice in the body is its harsh alcohol bite, followed by the cloying, sticky, sweet, musty fruits. Cloves are also prominent. The overall effect is a not-so-pleasant tonic of sorts. A surprising drainpour from Arbor Brewing.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 demitriustown (978) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - NOV 5, 2007
12 oz bottle: Pours a cloudy golden/amber color with little to no head. Aroma is fruity with orange and lemon coming out first, big spice presence too with clove coming out, and a nice malt texture as well. Flavor is nicely sweet like candy with the fruitiness and spices coming through in the taste as well. Palate is lightly sticky with a lingering spice note that is quite enjoyable. Overall, pretty damn good stuff in my personal opinion. I would buy this again.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 JJClark (550) - Roscoe, Illinois, USA - AUG 28, 2007
Bottle from trade with kmweaver. Thanks Ken! Pours a hazy light golden color with a dent size white head. Aroma of wheat, bananas and cirtus. Taste is semi sweet that resembles a wheat beer. Has a smoothh dry finish. Nice easy to drink brew that has a crisp clean flavor.

12oz - Aroma of bubblegum and sweet yeasty bread. Pours clear yellow with a small ring head and decent lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is sticky and sweet. While this was a tasty brew, it didn’t strike me as anything special.
3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Sammy (7041) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 27, 2007
Pale yellow and though sweet and sour, tasted aged and was sensational on palate. Fermented like carbonation. Too bad I could not walk away with a bottle. The Belgians was the surprise hit here, and this was the clear winner
