Tap at abc; Golden hazy blonde, great aroma of banana and clove, lavender and a hint of peach. Medium mouthfeel, smooth from start to finish. I have to say some extra carbination was present, although it did not interfere with the palate too much. A great brew.

Jul 21, 2008 It definetely starts with a hefe banana yeasty aroma with a hint of citrus. The flavor was slightly sweet.

May 14, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy yellowish brown with lots of sediment. The head is small and white (even after a vigorous pour) and quickly diminishes to a thin collar.<br /><br />
The aroma is very subdued - bready grains and some bananas and cloves.<br /><br />
The flavor is sweet malts, a little banana and clove, and a pretty harsh alcoholic bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full and slightly syrupy with almost no carbonation.<br /><br />
Overall, not that great of a tripel - it’s under-carbonated and pretty subdued other than the alcohol. <br />

May 8, 2008 Draft at daze of the devil. Golden orange pour with fruit and cane in the nose. Good spiced hop character. 10abv well hidden.

Apr 12, 2008 Excellent taste, it taste more like a whit should. Great malt with a balance of hops. Fulfills traditional expectations of a tripel yet brings a modern hue of spice. A great conversation piece.

Apr 7, 2008 Appeared a medium/dark-orange in the glass with minimal head.
It smelled stongly of citrus fruit and slight hops.
It tasted fruity/whiney with little bite.
It was definitely a smooth drink, which is probably why the menu says "limit 3".
