dmac (886), Toms River, New Jersey, USA Jan 22, 2008 Draft at HDG for Daze of the Devil II. Pours a deep brown with reddish highlights and a small fizzy white head. Aroma of chocolate, yeast and sugar. Flavor was a little more bitter then I was expecting with yeasty bread and even some slight chocolate or dark fruit showing up. If your gonna drink this have a lot of em, I have a feeling that by the fourth or fifth one they start to get really good.

Taste is medium malt, some musty dark fruit. Mild carbonation. hombrepalo (506), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 4, 2008 12oz bottle. Solid Dubbel. Overexceeded my expectation of this style. Yeasts were not as dominant as I would expect for a belgian style beer, but still a great make. Poured a dark brown color with some brownish head, minimal lace. Taste is carmely and fruity, some yeast. esay going brew with a pleasant aftertaste. Enjoyable to the finish. rudolf (1570), Buffalo, New York, USA Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Goodbar Beer Club. Nose is nearly burnt malt, a bit of fruit, alcohol, yeasty & spicy. Flavor is rich malt, caramels, bitter (but not acrid) malts, tart, almost green apple but not quite - somehow tarter. Like a dubbel with a bit of cherry/stout/wood. goldtwins (3740), Nesconset, New York, USA Jul 5, 2008 Thanks to Notalush. Poured a clear mahogany and a thin off-white head. The aroma smells like glue and caramel. The flavor was mildly tart with notes of caramel and cola. Light-medium body.
