Bottle conditioned 500ml from West Country Ales, Cheddar, Gloucs. Hazy orange gold with white head. I’m taking it that this is one of their Friday thrash around beers, very intense, very hoppy and dry, bitter, lime pith, lemon zest, pips, slightly tinny note. Phew.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2012 Bottle from Pete. Smells like warm toasted hops. Woo, this is rather harsh. Begins like a hoppy quilted, slightly undercooked malt basket, but soon ratchets up to a supremely dry, burnt and very bitter finish. A bit difficult to drink. Smashed me like burnt cinder toffee.
