COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A deep reddish brew with medium body and carbonation. This stronger, maltier, and hoppier pale ale has a depth of hop taste and acidity in the palate and finish. Cascade dry hopping gives this popular brew a fresh, floral nose.

Dark red/brown with sticky off-white lacing. Very light nose of roasted hop. Palate is hoppy but with a definite roast/campfire flavor. Citrus and grass flavors are also present. Good. Different.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Sean and Amber (2beerguys.com). Look is a hazy brown ale with thin white head that showed plenty of retention. Lots of retention. Nose is hops with slightly roasted malt. Light effervescence with spicy hops. Light lingering hops. Nice to try.

A somewhat unique one. Pours reddish amber with fluffy head. Lacing abounds as the aroma of roasty malt and hops comes off the top. Very roasted flavor up front, and strong bitter finish. I liked this one or its unique flavors. Interesting! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy amber color. Medium body and head. Sour overtones are surprising for an amber ale. Not much "floral" IMO.

12 ounce bottle thanks to hopdog. A sweet biscuit and caramel nose. The flavor is spicy, light strawberries, caramel, very smooth and fruity.

12 ounce thanks to mikem409. Chocolate a bit for an amber. Bit of malty and caramel finishes it off.

Bottle. Both a malt and hop aroma... Roasted. Carbonation is high, bitter taste and lingering finish. Decent beer but I wouldn’t run back.

Tap @ Arbor. Cloudy, dark orange appearance with a tan head. Roasty, dark malty, dull earthy hoppy aroma. Roasty, slightly charred, pale malty, earthy hoppy flavor.

12oz bottle from Siciliano’s Market in Grand Rapids, MI. Pours a murky, brown, red-orange tinted body with a big, rocky, dense and foamy, two finger-width head that collapses slowly and leave a moderate lacing throughout. Aroma is pretty solid with a nice toasty caramel and some floral and herbal hops. A bit nutty with some citrus and a touch of grainy roasts. Flavor is similar. Some light toffees and toasty caramels up front before all the hops come in. Lots of herbal pines with some floral citruses. The malts are fairly thin throughout, but kick up a touch towards the end as this finishes dry and pretty bitter. Somewhat abrasive before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Light body and higher carbonation. Overall, not a bad pale ale. Lots of bitter hops and citruses with a light toasty caramel malt. Enjoyable enough.

Way too carbonated - overpowering - can’t get a good sense of the hops/roast. Not impressed.
