COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our traditional small batch IPA is cask conditioned, dry hopped, hand pulled, and served at cellar temperature (55°). Coppery-gold hue with a full floral cascade hop aroma. Rich bready malts lay a perfect foundation for the profusion of tangy, citrusy hops that infuse this beer with a distinct ruby-red grapefruit quality that starts on the palate and lingers through a long satisfying finish.

Rated on draft at the brewing co. the day before my Lear approved ass chewing. Pours amber with a chunky white head. Crisp sweetness with floral and citrus notes (grapefruit and others). Good. Sweet caramel is very present with very smooth citrus and pine balanced bitterness. Very drinkable. Creamy smooth body with light dry finish that reminds you of pine and faint citrus. Lingering taste, with low carbonation due to the cask conditioning that is perfect for this brew. Nice stuff.

Served on cask at the brewpub on 4/27/06: Pours a lightly hazy copper orange with an airy, nicely-lacing white head. Fresh hoppy aroma has good caramel sugary malty balance. Starts lightly sweet and sugary with a good fresh light grapefruity balance. A good IPA.

On cask. The body was medium orange. The aroma was grapefruit with caramel. There was also some rich shortbread. The taste was breadcrust with just a hint of grapefruit. There was also a hint of dirt. The body was silky smooth. Love me some cask ale.

Draft @ Arbor Brewing: Cask with beer engine Hazy amber color with a medium off-white head. The aroma is soft but hop dominated. Piney, citrusy and floral over a light apricot. Caramel with a touch of butterscotch. Malty caramel flavor up front with piney hop. Semi-dry with a long bitter finish. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body.

Tasted at Arbor Brewing Company. Clear amber appearance. Notes of citrus in the nose. Soft and creamy. Mild sweet malt flavors are quickly overtaken by grapefruit and orange citrus flavors. Well balanced and quite good.

Cask at the brewpub-Orange haze pour with a froth of white foam leaving nice lacing. Orange citrus hoppiness with good solid sweet malt sweetness and a pine influence. Silky smooth corriander fruit rind and hops in the mouth. Soft carbonated malt candy as well. Creamy smooth finish, very drinkable. An easy session drink. Great!

cask. slightly hazy bright orange with a creamy, soapy off-white head that has great retention throughout the entire half pint. awesome biscuit cookie aroma with lots of citrus soapiness and creamy malt. a fantastic session IMO...I would definitely be able to drink a few of these. creamy up front with soft inviting carbonation leading into orange citrus, sometimes piney hops. very creamy and quaffable. great stuff.

Cloudy orange, with yellow fringes. SIlky head of ivory. Buttery pine and floral aroma. Flavor is all hops, with no malt background. Mostly dissapointing. Straight metallic hop bitterness. With lime rind and oak. Finish is completely grassy. One dimensional.

Translucent, bold orange in color with no movement anywhere. Thoughts of "pancake bitters" formulate with the first wafts, which means the aroma’s taking on some maple traits, along with oranges, grapefruit and papaya. Clean laundry sense to it all. Specially concocted grapefruit enzymatic juice kick starts the flavor. Pulpy, sweet orange display. Bitters hibernate but resound in the wake of each special sip. Medium-bodied, gently rolling in and taking a squeegee to the tongue. Orange dust comes in on the finish with citric highlights and pervasive bitters.
