Rastacouere (5258), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Mar 15, 2004 Bottle-conditioned hazy amber body with a huge frothy head that morphs into big lively bubbles. Aroma is dry, grapefruity, lightly tart with notes of yeast. Taste is floral, very dry with grapefruit and apple notes and a pencil shavings finish (not perceived as a default). Creamy medium body. This is a very well-made IPA Michael! Cheers to the prof! CaptainCougar (4624), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jul 14, 2006 Served on cask at the brewpub on 4/27/06: Pours a lightly hazy copper orange with an airy, nicely-lacing white head. Fresh hoppy aroma has good caramel sugary malty balance. Starts lightly sweet and sugary with a good fresh light grapefruity balance. A good IPA. hopdog (4525), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA May 6, 2006 On tap at the Arbor Brew Pub. Cask. Poured a medium orange color with a very small sized off white head. Aromas of floral, citrus, light pine and lightly spices. Tastes of citrus, light spices, and caramel. hopscotch (4433), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Dec 25, 2006 Bottle... Cloudy amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Excellent retention. Fruity, estery nose with herbal, citrus hops. Notes of caramel and black tea. The flavor is sweet, black tea up front, followed closely by grape fruity, metallic hop bitterness. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with moderate carbonation. Crisp finish with mild bitterness.
