jeffwilliams11 (222), hooterville, Michigan, USA Apr 26, 2008 typical arbor overcarbonation...nice ipa though. not too hoppy, easy to drink. really pretty clear brass color.
doubleo (683), San Diego, California, USA Jul 26, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge, billowing, white head. Great retention, sheet lace. Smells very malty and barely hoppy. Cereal malt smells. Tastes more hoppy than it smells. Grassy hops but still lots of cereal, sweet malt flavors as well. Too much in my opinion. Medium body, good carbonation. flatmatt (46), Northville, Michigan, USA Jun 14, 2008 On cask at the brewpub. Orange amber pour with a good sized white head. Aromas of citrus and grassy hops. Flavor is mostly of grapefruit hops and a decent amount of bitterness. Decent IPA, but could use a bit more flavor. notalush (1971), Rawn-kawn-kohma, New York, USA Jun 10, 2008 Cask at the brewpub - hazy orange beer - really fresh hop aroma, with strong citrus zest and medium sweetness - smooth, medium to full bodied - flavor of earthy hops, citrus, light honey, mild bread/grain - a solid IPA, at least on cask. BeerBaron617 (80), Novi, Michigan, USA Jun 8, 2008 Just had this on tap at the brewpub, and I liked it so much i brought home a growler! Very solid IPA with smokey as well as fruity notes. Not quite as hoppy as I’d like in an IPA(especially in Michigan!) but very good nonetheless. sneagrams3 (1342), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Jun 3, 2008 Tasted 6/2/08. 12oz bottle. Completely over-carbonated, which I am finding typical of this brewery. Huge billowing head from a half bottle pour. Peppery citrus fluffy nose. Medium bodied with a piney soapy hop flaovr. Citrus and PineSol nose. Huge bitterness. All grapefruit in the palate. Lemon and citrus with a touch of honey. Too grassy. Not for me.
