As the name suggests, we’ve used just one variety of hop in this pale golden ale. Brewed with just low colour Maris Otter malt and a little wheat for head retention, we’ve selected some of the more “interesting” hops and added several bucket loads to each brew. Currently we’re using an American hop, Amarillo. Expect a spicy / citrus flavour with a floral aroma.

Cask-conditioned at the Watershed Cafe, Bristol 8/08/10. Clear gold with a decent, lacy white head. Floral hop aroma, with a peppery kick and touch of grapefruit. Flavour of lemons and mandarin fruit, with a touch of spice and sweet malt and a lingering dry finish. Excellent.
