As the name suggests, we’ve used just one variety of hop in this pale golden ale. Brewed with just low colour Maris Otter malt and a little wheat for head retention, we’ve selected some of the more “interesting” hops and added several bucket loads to each brew. This one uses the new Zealand variety, Riwaka. Expect plenty of sweet citrus and tropical fruit flavours with a bitter finish.

50cl bottle, BB 01 May 2013. Poured pale, amber with a thin, but lasting white head. Aroma has herbs, tropical fruity notes as well as some woody notes. Weird and interesting aroma. Flavor has the same woodyness, at least that is how I interpret it, sweet fruity and herbal. Finish is light bitter and long. Light to medium bodied. Refreshing, very easy drinking beer.
