750mL Bottle. Thanks so much Sean! Geez, it’s been a while since I’ve had an Arbor sour, and thankfully this one doesn’t have any acetone in it! Aroma gurgles with a hint of manure, some fermenting grasses, and a punch of dill and lavender herbalness. On the tongue a swift kick of lemon acid, nice and halting. What starts out as clean and rich in the lacto-acid swiftly takes on a flailing herb and spice quality as it kicks and screams its way out the door. The acidity is gut wrenching, but good in the best way super sour beers can be sour, not like pickle juice, but certainly not soft. This is very decent, with some fun plays of flavor and lacking the problems that past Arbor sours have suffered from.

(750ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) hazy medium orange, effervescent bubbles, ring of fine tan bubbles. Nose of apples, barrel, caramel, tart, smells delicious and rich. Taste is really nice and sour, cranberry, seltzer water, great tart linger, dried cranberries. Great balance and well carbonated.

Ginger-y and spicy smell. The flavor is tart and acidic, nice dryness. Some spice and earthiness. Plenty of sourness. Pretty delicious.

750ml bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with a small sized off white head. Manure (everything was smelling like manure in Mike’s basement tonight), vinegar, green apples, earth, and funk. Damn Eric for saying pickle juice.

Wow, the barnyard on the nose almost bowls you over, which is awesome if you’re into that like I am. The puckery sourness is also almost over-the-top. This really blurs the line between a super-bretty wine and beer. Only for true sour lovers!

Bottle shared by the brewer while attending day 1 of The Livery Anniversary party, much thanks! This is a shocking surprise in a very good way. The sourness is right where you want it, not over the top but not underwhelming either. Not funky like a gueze but clean acidic and lactic bite with moderate oak barrel tannic dryness as well. You still can find the base malt under it all. Utterly refreshing. I will seek this out the next bottle release. OUTSTANDING and for this day every bit as good as many RR offerings.

Draft. Poured a clear golden color with a mostly lasting frothy white head with good lacing. Moderate to heavy yeast, wood and complex fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sour flavor with a medium to heavy tart & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer.

Poured from 750 into a tulip. Pours a medium gold color with a foamy head. Very good depth and complex aromas of funk, sour cherries, sour citrus notes, and some tart green apples. Really good medium body feel with good depth and notes of green apples, sour cherries and sour citrus’. This was a great beer. Got this from a friend and am very glad I got it. Really good depth across the board with a real nice tartness to it.

Yellow-orange coloured body with some head. Just delightful summer day beer, with some oak, spice, almost cherry tartness. Full mouthfeel. Suitably carbonated, a little aging helped. Thanks WomanCan’tSail. Very good drinkability.

750ml bottle courtesy of Sammy. Cloudy burnt orange colour with almost no head; slight fruity sour aroma, more apples than cherries; much more noticeable tartness in it’s flavor.
