cloudy orange body with small head..aroma of massive sugar, artificial strawberry syrup, and honey..nice flavor with sweet breads, straw and sugar. perhaps a tad too sweet, but refreshing

Bottle. Hazy amber-orange body, thin buff head. Nose of honey, strawberry, and spice (perhaps coriander). Sugary body with spices and strawberry, finishing with caky esters and a hint of alcohol. I’m not a big fan of the blend.

(12oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear rich orange with a ring of white bubbles. Nose of rosemary, strawberry, sugar and upon swirling the glass corn emanates. Taste of grass, herbal, and sugary strawberry syrup. Smooth palate finish.

Bottle purchased at Pauly’s in Lowell. Live Rate! Pours an almost syruppy amber color with lazycarbonation and a fleeting beige head. Smells of muddled berries and faint yeast. Tastes of strawberry jam, biscuity malt, and straw. Not bad. A bit heavier than I was expecting for the style.

Served on draft at the Michigan Summer Beerfest, 2010, as part of RBSG festivities. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a medium offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of peach, strawberry and slightly nutty notes. The taste is strawberry with some bready notes. Slightly bitter. Medium bodied. Decent.

The beer pours a golden orange color with a white head. The aroma is corn with some sugar, wheat and strawberries. The flavor has a lot of strawberries and wheat notes and also smells a little bit like Fruity Pebbles. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

bottle thanks to bu11zeye perhaps? poured amber with a faint cream ring. strawberry, yeast, light sugar, and some florals. decent on the palate, big yeast flavor up front, faint strawberries, very carbonated finish.

12oz. bottle. The pour yields a hazy sienna-amber colored body with an instantly fleeting head of fizz. It vanishes so quickly, I can’t even get a good color representation on the foam. There is absolutely no lacing, which makes this a pretty dull looking beer. The nose is a strange one, showing way more caramel malt than any self-proclaimed blonde ale that I have ever come across. Notes of brown sugar, blonde candy, wheaty fruit esters, and grains of paradise all seem muddled and confused. If there’s any strawberry at all, it’s certainly buried pretty deep within. Flavors are just as flabby and poorly integrated, showing mainly overly sweet wheat grain, caramel, bread, and candy, with a spicy Belgian yeast overtone and a twang that hints at mild infection. There’s a general fruitiness about it, but certainly not anything that can be identified as strawberry. The palate is uninspired, lacking in carbonation and seeming overly sugar laden for what should be a refreshing summertime brew. Pretty poor effort here.
