3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at Euston Tap, London. It pours clear amber, with a thick white head. The nose is peppery, citrus, hopsack, freshly baked bread, grass and some farmyard. The taste is peppery hop, citrus, grass, assertive bitterness, subtle white grape, resinous, dough and spice with a dry, bitter finish. Flavoursome and very drinkable. The pint disappeared in record time, or did it evaporate in the humid climes of the Euston Tap?

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Really well hopped with a massive fruity character - mainly pineapple with some hints of passionfruit and peach. Some pepper too - really enjoyable beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: Passionfruit and grapefruit. Hints of menthol.
Appearance: Hazy, pale golden body with a small white head. Light carbonation. Slight lacing.
Taste: Very juicy. Fresh, bitter grapefruit flavours. Subtle pine notes. The hops are really well showcased in this.
Palate: Medium body with a slightly oily texture. Fizzy carbonation.
Overall: Hoppy, fresh and delicious. Reminds me of The Kernel’s Pale Ale Chinook Simcoe.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pale golden with white head. Aroma is quite peppery, spicy, yeast, grapefruit musty. Taste is very peppery again with a little grapefruit. Very thin, watery. A thirst quencher but a bit unexciting

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle conditioned, 500ml from West Country Ales, Cheddar, Somerset. Hazy gold with white head. There is a lovely hoppy aroma when the cap is popped, this follows through to the first sip of the beer, this is dry and intensely hoppy, grapefruit and gooseberry, green and a touch raw. Lasting on the palate. A very decent beer.

Bottle from Great Grog. Hazy light amber brown colour, not much head, lot of sediment. Resin, citrus & tropical fruit aroma. Very dry biscuit & citrus fruit flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Quite a big bitter blonde beer.
