2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
75cl bottle, thanks Miver. Gusher, tan head with hazy red-dark brown body. Aroma is medium sweet, sour/lacto, some caramel, light funk. Taste is moderately sweet, lacto/sour, some caramel. Light-medium body, some acidity. Sure it’s supposed to be sour, but this just doesn’t taste very good.

Draft sample at MBGF Summer09.
Poured a hazy dark brown color with a minimal frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy tart citrus, good funk and wood aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour flavor with a medium to heavy sweet&sour finish of moderate to long duration.
This is a standout beer for style.
