Cask at the Euston Tap. Cloudy gold - amber beer. Good white head. Palate is soft and a little airy. Very moderate carbonation. Mild tangy orange. A little bubblegum and a trace of lemon. Pinch of spice. Wheat malt. Semi dry finish. There is a slight dry bitterness about this wheat beer that is bothering me somewhat. But it’s all right.

Cask handpull at Craft Beer Co. Cloudy orange gold colour thin off white head. Yes some German weissbier tendancies but still an English edge to it. Some esters some vanana some bubblegum but a fair hop whack on the end. Not great to be honest. Malt is a bit disappointing. Tastes of glue. And smells of petrol. I liked it to start with but at end of a half I was not that impressed

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 15/09/12. Cloudy mid orange with a thin white head. Nose comprises yeast, orange, toffee and a little grass. Tastes of pale malts, yeast, banana, toffee and custard. Medium bodied with a fairly thick feel and moderate carbonation.

Cask conditioned Handpump Southampton Arms London. A hazy tan coloured beer with an off-white pool of head. Banana and sugary caramel in the aroma. A hint of orange in the mouth. A sweeter than average hefe but that sweetness gives it more body than a regular German hefe. Pretty decent.

leaparsons (8323) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 20, 2012
Cask, The Salmon, Leicester. Hazy gold with a white foam. Aromas are caramel, wheat and spiced oranges. Soapy floral notes with spices. Flavours are clean wheat with soft, sweet oranges and lots of mixed spices. Has some coriander and ginger. Underlying caramel with a spicy, peppery, dry finish. Decent.

Scopey (7449) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2011
Cask at CP&K. It pours cloudy amber, with pretty much no head. The nose is wheat, light spice, caramelized banana, brown bread and aromatics. The taste is wheat, banana, caramel, brown bread, light citrus, subtle spice and earth. Thin-medium body and no carbonation. A bit too thin and not up to the usual Arbor standard.

downender (6526) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2011
Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol. Deep amber with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of bubble gum, citrus and bananas. Flavour had some grainy malts, more fruit, a touch of spice and dryish finish. Not bad for an English interpretation of the style.

Bottle. Yellow and slightly cloudy with a small head. Some wheat and citrus. A resonable example of this style.
