COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
We pushed our small brewery right to the limit to create this bad boy. We selected half a dozen of our favourite American hops, grown in the Yakima Valley, Washington State, and added bucket loads of each. With twice the hop rate of most of our other beers, it really is very hoppy indeed.

Slightly hazy amber golden colour, firm write head. Aroma of hops, tropical fruits, mango, lots of pine, light malts. Relatively light bitter flavour, hops and pine. Finish hops, pine, rather bitter. Rather nice!
(Draught -keg I believe-, shared with Benzai @ Euston Tap, London)

Cask at GBBF 2014. Pours amber with a white head. Very lightly funky, lemon zest aroma with a little caramel. Light toffee, marmalade, rye bread, toast, lemon, woody resin, grapefruit.... Nice.

Draught @ Euston Tap, shared by Martinus. Murky orangy color, small dense white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is malts, hops, lightly fruity. Taste is moderate to heavy malty, hops, fruit peel bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad.

Cask at GBBF ’14. Golden brown with a bit of natural head. Big hit of pine reisn, grass, apple pie, wheat and papaya in the aroma. The taste is old-fashion American ultra-bitter from start to finish. Any slight sweetness that threatens to creep in is mercilessly crushed. Lip-puckering bitter aftertaste that may please many but is too much for me. Doesn’t really work in cask, and is subtle as a brick. Still enjoyable enough though.

Keg in the Euston Tap. So I had this basically side-by-side with the Lagunitas Little Sumpin Sumpin, which is really very sweet, and then when rating this I wrote down ’dry’. And all the other reviews say it is (too) sweet! Amazing how your palate can get led astray by circumstances. Anyway, quite crisp malts, relatively dry (isn’t IPA supposed to be a bit bittersweet?) and really quite hoppy, mostly pine with some citrus juicy fruits. Long bitter finish. A touch of booze comes through. Overall not bad.

Cask ale by hand-pump at Grove Inn, shared with Nina and Steinar. Firm, lasting pearl white head. Satisfying lacing down the glass. Hazy amber coloured body. Caramel and grapefruit to the nose. Mango, grapefruit and honey to the flavour character. Lingering bittersweet ending. Well bodied and well made (Huddersfield 09.07.2014).

Aroma: floral hops, citrus fruits, grapefruit. Appearance: hazy pale gold, no head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: bitters intensify, nice hops, average-long, slightly dry finish. Overall: beautiful IPA, complex aroma and palate, yet light in ABV. Pint at The Porter, Bath.

Keg @ Euston Tap. Pours murky brown, somewhat muddled taste, lots of hops flying about blending tropical flavours with stone fruit bracing bitter pine but not quite mixing right for me.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber, with a large off-white head, which lasts well and leaves good lacing. Fresh pine, grapefruit and lychee hops mix with mild white bread malt to create the aroma. Strong pine and pepper hops up front soften into lychee leading into the mid-palate. This features white bread and mild caramel malt, with grapefruit hops in the finish. A good, solid IPA.
