COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Occasional. Also available bottled.
We’ve pushed our small brewery right to the limits to create this bad boy. With the price of American hops so low this year, we decided to see just how many of them we could cram into a beer. Turns out the answer is "quite a lot!" In fact, we used twice as many hops as we put into our Imperial IPA. We then dry-hopped with another few kilos, just for good measure.

Cask. Clear golden color with a small white head. The nose is funky, some grapefruit, wet dog, acid, orange peel. Fruity citrus flavor with a light, sweet finish. Nice. Light body, subtle carbonation. Really nice, funky.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Sweet and hoppy with mango, lemon, grapefruit and toffee. Strong bitterness. Some hop tannins. Strong hop aroma and taste, very uncompromising.

Cask at GBBF. Golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, especially orange, with a grainy malt note. Sweet citrus fruity and malty flavout with a medium bitter finish

Tap at GBBF.
Pale golden beer with a creamy off white head. Aroma of resin, grass balanced with malt and honey. Sweet malt at the start, followed by a powerful resiny-herbal-grassy hop attack. Hop dried out my mouth.

Spectacular hop nose of fat and juicy citrus - grapefruit, orange, fructose. I poured mine cloudy because I don’t always like settling bottle conditioned beers. The taste follows the nose and adds artichoke, mange tout and burnt orange peel. Finish is long and dry and puckeringly moreish. It’s always a nice surprise when a beer that bigs up the hops a lot on the label actually delivers, and this one does. In spades.

Cast at GBBF 2011, Day 3. Pours clear gold with a medium, white foam head. Fresh, clean hop aroma, light grass notes, fine pine. Medium sweet flavor with beautiful balance. Bitter notes of pine and resin. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky finish, oily and resinous hops, fine baked straw, grass. Great. One of the best cask IPAs I can recall.

GBBF. Cask. Clear gold beer. Little white head. Light dry palate. Bitter resinous hop. Grapefruit, tangerine, touch of pineapple. Grassy bitterness. Dry finish and the bitterness turns marmaladey. Nice English IPA - if this had been put on the US bar it would have blended in seamlessly.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, pepery spicy hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Very nice ;O) [20110803]
