We pushed our small brewery right to the limit to create this bad boy. We selected half a dozen of our favourite American hops, grown in the Yakima Valley, Washington State, and added bucket loads of each. With twice the hop rate of most of our other beers, it really is very hoppy indeed.

Cask @ Gallows Bird RAF 2013. Pours a hazy hale orange with an off-white head. Aroma is strawberry jam, marmalade. Very sweet, not inviting. Taste is very sweet with the jam, strawberry and gooseberry jam. Turns a bit drier on the finish, but still much too sweet. Not very hoppy to my taste. Sticky.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Pours murky orange. Aroma is rather light, red fruits, hops, passionfruit. Taste is sweet, a bit boozy, fruits, sweet caramel, grass, citrus. Ok but seems slightly unbalanced and almost like that not all went perfectly ok.

Bottle as a birthday gift from the parents. Cheers! A hazy amber colour with a frothy off white head. The aroma is fairly hoppy with slightly musty grapefruit. The taste is spicy with grapefruit, mango, gooseberry and quite a bit of caramel underlying. Quite full flavoured and tasty.

2015-09-20. Hazy dark orange amber body with a nice creamy off-white head and lace. 3++ Aroma of fruity hops, light hop resin, citrus, more fruit that I can’t put a name to right now but it is rather pleasant. 7+ Flavour is moderately bitter, it has a good amount of sweet malt at the core but loads of citrusy hops, whisper of green hops and something I can’t quite put my finger on, some other fruit notes. Alcohol is very restrained and mostly obscured by the growing bitterness. Smooth average plus to medium bodied palate, soft carbonation. Dangerously drinkable at 7%. Does not improve performance at video games. Bottle at Kongs, Bristol.

In bottiglia. Colore ramato, leggermente velata, schiuma fine, pannosa e persistente. Aroma di frutta rossa, arancia pompelmo, lievemente scarichi. Al palato corpo maltato, caramello che poi vira sul territorio amaro fruttato e lievemente terroso

Keg at The Norwich Tap House, Norwich. Hazy gold with white head. This proved to be a particularly hoppy beer, dry and full on the palate. There is a citric, then tropical fruit character, drying bitterness, very fresh tasting. Enjoyable beer.
