We pushed our small brewery right to the limit to create this bad boy. We selected half a dozen of our favourite American hops, grown in the Yakima Valley, Washington State, and added bucket loads of each. With twice the hop rate of most of our other beers, it really is very hoppy indeed.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; cloudy light copper pour with big bubbly off white head, tropical hop aroma loads of peach mango and pine, aroma is translated into the taste a tropical hop bomb with a malty edge, big carbonation. Nice.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Copper-golden with a thick head. Has a hoppy and very stated tropical fruit taste given its strength, which is evident. Grapefruit in both aroma and taste.

Bottle @ tasting, shared by jmgreenuk. Pours a slightly hazy, orange colored beer with a stable off white head on top which leaves nice lacing. Aroma has caramel, light earthy hops and some slight juicyness. Nice in balance. Flavor has a bit overwhelming yeast going on unfortunately, but still has some earthy hops shining in the background. Malty caramel touches are also mixed in the palate. Soft hoppiness, but defintely present here. Nicely balanced, not too overpowering.

Keg. Frosted orange/gold beer with a thick cream head. Heavy citrus nose with mango and lots of orange fruits. Tangerine, clementine, kumquat. In the taste it's wow! There's more fruits as above and a ton of malt. There's a heavy malt backbone and alcohol tingle here tempering the ale. There's even a touch of biscuit in here. Fascinating beer! Yummmm!

One of my best ales. A cloudy orange ale with a heavy sweet taste with a medium bitter aftertaste that sticks on the tongue. Little or no carbonation. The hops in this ale kick in very quickly, when poured correctly a good strong head is left for the duration. Good served from the pump and from a live bottle. Although hard to source bottled in the UK due to Arbor’s insistence on selling it to the foreign market first.

Bottle. 0.5ltr. Shared, sampled ~0.15ltr @ Rooie Dop brewdungeon. The aroma of this beer is wonderful fruity with apricots, peach and citrus. Very full and powerfull. Slightly hazy, copper coloured beer with a lasting, medium white head. The taste is initially little sweet and moderate bitter. The hop fruitiness kicks in immediately. Then the beer becomes quite bitter and more astringent to the end, without being too harsh. Really good brewski. Will buy again if I have the chance.

I like it. Very hoppy indeed and remarkably smooth with tastes of peach and citrus in the hops. Punchy and bitter too.

Lovely double ipa vibes, sherbet, mango, quite potent sweet and lightly bitter taste. Tasty. Jolly butcher.
