12oz bottle. Hazy and ruby brown. Caramel and fruity esters in the nose. Notes of apples and citrus and slight pruny note in the aroma. Medium bodied. Tingling, off-dry. Smooth malts. Hints of cocoa and a medium toasty malt roast. Nutty and sweet. Good and toasty.

From a 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with a bottled/freshness date along the right side of label.
Made a good appearance with the usual Arcadia high carbonation, opens with a pop, poured a clear red and golden hued orange with a large foamy head that slowly settles into a thin cream foamy lacing, minimal amount of sticking.
Had a fruit tea and toasted caramel nose with a floral aroma in the background.
A crisp and carbonated smooth lightish medium body mouth feel, good drinkability.
Toasty and caramelized malty taste with a lightly fruity tea-like hop bitterness, the bitterness is first quickly sharp, then softly rolling on the tongue, a touch of earthiness as well and a dry fruity tea with a hit of sugar finish.
A tasty amber ale from Arcadia, a nice balanced bitterness, very drinkable.

12 oz bottle: poured cloudy amber with a medium tan head. Caramel malt aroma. Has a quite large earthiness to it that is not unappealing. Light citrus. Malty. Medium to large carbonation. Mildly bitter finish. Not bad but leaves a lot to be desired after the Bell’s 20th anniversary Amber Ale.

There is a pleasent aroma of caramel malt and some fruitiness. The pourr is a cloudy amber with an off white head. Slight caramel sweetness at the front and grows to a slight hoppish finish.

attractive light clear amber with a light beige foamy head. smells of pale malt, some caramel malt, and has a smell lightly reminiscent of the bottlecap (probably the yeast presence.) flavor profile that fits the bill of the aroma, and has a light hops tang at the finish. enjoyable, but that’s about it.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Kevin (1951) - Colorado, USA - MAR 19, 2006
Pours walnut brown with a light not quite white head that rings my glass. Smell is straight Kraft caramels. Flavor is light sweetness with the bitter taste of powdered aspirin hiding in there. A light grape flavor lingers.
