Funknmilla (511), Absecon, New Jersey, USA Dec 27, 2007 12 oz bottle...cloudy pale amber--extensive frothy fluffy beige head, as it settles, small chunky holes form like a mattress...little hops laying comfortably in their bed of yeast....as dreaming envelopes, the lemons subtly begin to bounce with their malty friends....dreams continue with sharp tartness that almost stirs them to consciousness....tossing and turning with bitter lashes, yet a refreshing outcome....its called anglers ale, picture this...not catching anything??...well at least you can talk about this brew
timsilvia32 (183), born in Michigan, North Carolina, USA Aug 19, 2008 Dark gold pour, significant white head. Very floral aroma. Earthy, with a slight malt tinge, quite dominated middle through finish by bitter hops. A little hoppy/carbonated for an English pale, but still pretty good. More of an American pale. When I was living in Michigan I always chose this over the Sierra. everettvh (12), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Aug 15, 2008 Bottle. Gold/orange with a tall, white head. Aroma had fruit and a bit of caramel. Decent body, with more hops than necessary. Light finiah with slightly metallic aftertaste. Hudspart (307), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA Aug 11, 2008 Bottle: Pours yellow with a huge head. Aroma of hops and slight flavor of same. Not bad, but not great. esjaygee (721), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Aug 7, 2008 Cloudy amber with an extra large frothy white head, slowly dissipating. What’s up with the mammoth heads on these arcadia beers, it’s kind of annoying. Aroma of toasted malts, earthy and noble hops, fruit, grain and sweet malt. Taste of toasted barley, noble hops, grains. A touch over carbonated. bellasierra2 (16), absecon, New Jersey, USA Jul 27, 2008 Great head. Hoppy aroma. Great balance nice texture, cream. Lovely and delicious gold color with cloudiness. nice beer
