Bottle: Poured a golden orange/amber color with too much head. Aroma was that of grass, pine and citrus. The flavor was hoppy and smooth. A very drinkable beer for large consumption.

Aug 24, 2008 Nice super hazy copper coloured body with a SUPER thick tan head. Aroma of fresh malt, cardboard, english (light a.a.) hops and a smooth amount of fruits. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour with some nuts and a chewy mouthful of malt. Aftertaste shows some alcohol, bubbles and a good amount of english hops. Overall, a pretty strong beer - I’m curious on why this isn’t rated so highly - but a good beer in my opinion. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 03-August-2008, sampled on 24-August-2008.

Aug 19, 2008 Dark gold pour, significant white head. Very floral aroma. Earthy, with a slight malt tinge, quite dominated middle through finish by bitter hops. A little hoppy/carbonated for an English pale, but still pretty good. More of an American pale. When I was living in Michigan I always chose this over the Sierra.

Aug 15, 2008 Bottle. Gold/orange with a tall, white head. Aroma had fruit and a bit of caramel. Decent body, with more hops than necessary. Light finiah with slightly metallic aftertaste.

Aug 7, 2008 Cloudy amber with an extra large frothy white head, slowly dissipating. What’s up with the mammoth heads on these arcadia beers, it’s kind of annoying. Aroma of toasted malts, earthy and noble hops, fruit, grain and sweet malt. Taste of toasted barley, noble hops, grains. A touch over carbonated.
