Medium copper color - huge pillowy head. Aroma is floral with a hint of biscuit. Flavor is...just....meh. Some noble hops, a rather bitter astringency. Slight note of citrus. Finish is very dry. Didn’t really do it for me.

Jul 15, 2008 (12 oz bottle) caveat: this may have been a bad bottle. It was hazy and had some sediment - since I don’t see that it’s supposed to be bottle conditioned, it is likely off. Huge head, hazy deep gold. Earthy aroma. Flavor is yeast, earthy hops.

Jun 1, 2008 I was greatly surprised and impressed by this one. I first heard about it last fall and I had looked it up and their own website made it sound like a weak, light beer so I avoided it for the longest time. However, I gave it a shot recently and was very glad I did. It reminded me of a strong, English pale, very similar to a Bass. It had some mild yet distict hops but also a solid malt finish. This may be one of my new favorites from Arcadia!

Apr 17, 2008 Drank at the brewery, 2006. While not a fan of English Pale Ales, this is a great representative of the style. Nice flavors of the ringwood yeast at hand. Far better than Fullers!

Apr 13, 2008 12oz bottle-pours a foamy off white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is spicy/earthy hops, some malt, scotch. Taste is spicy/earthy hops, some malt, scotch.

Mar 31, 2008 Too carbonated. Each bottle of the 6 pack foamed over and left 50 % head in the glass.
QC problem. Taste is ruined by the fizzy palate.
Not bad but I’ll pass until they institute a QA program
