Angler's Ale, is a full-bodied English Pale Ale. Bright copper in color, it has a full, toasted and complex malt flavor with a hint of caramel. The sweet and delicate herbal hop finish is provided by premium Goldings whole flower hops.

Medium copper color - huge pillowy head. Aroma is floral with a hint of biscuit. Flavor is...just....meh. Some noble hops, a rather bitter astringency. Slight note of citrus. Finish is very dry. Didn’t really do it for me.

Great hoppy aroma but the flavors are only average. Very floral, caramel, and citrus peels.

Ok for a pale, expecting more from this brewer though. Moving on to others.

Pours a copper with a frothy white head. Faint aroma of citrus. Taste has a lot yeast in it. Some citrus is detected as well. I feel the aftertaste was a bit bitter and doesn’t really agree with me. Dull.

FishBizkit (123) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 2, 2012
Slight aroma of sweet grains, just the barest hint of hops. Pours clear amber, with a full thick white head. A bit of sweet malts starts off, with hints of light fruits, and just a touch of hops. It’s a fairly well balanced beer. -Fish!

Bottle. Big, soap-sudsy, persistent head. Not bad, but nothing to make it stand out.

A copper color ale and in the English Pale tradition much more of the malt taste comes through than does the hops. A slightly bitter taste with a touch of citrus and one "off" flavor I can’t quite put my finger on, it may actually lie in the Goldings. Does not finish overly crisp and over all a very average pale.

Bottle. Clear brownish orange with a fluffy white head. Nice brassy citrus hops aroma and taste with some molasses notes and mild caramel and a slightly astringent earthy finish.

Bottle- Pours a deep golden, almost bronze color with a huge head that fades slowly to ample lacing. Aroma of pine, bit of nut and herbs. Not much else. Taste starts with a crisp bite up front with some malt sweetness and a bit of herbs. A nice bitterness and the finish is quite dry. Fairly medium body, crisp and quite refreshing. More carbonated than most English Pale Ales.Decent beer, quite enjoyable. Most English Pale Ales are a bit more laid back than this one. Will have to visit this fishing hole again sometime.

1. Look – A deep gold color ale with a large white head. 2. Sniff – It has a citrusy aroma. 3. Sip – This medium bodied ale is has an orange flavor and an odd vanilla taste. There is almost a sour finish. 4. Another Look – This is ale looks good with its long lasting head and good lacing. 5. Evaluate – Overall, this pale ale is not good. It has a variety of undesirable flavors and tastes. I would not recommend this pale ale to anyone.

Bottle. Aroma has notes of flowers, herbs, caramel and pine. Very large white frothy head that left good lace. Flavor is medium sweet and bitter. Palate is medium bodied and watery soft. Overall a nice easy drinking Pale Ale.
