This big beer has a beautiful malt character to accompany the intense hop profile. Plus a hint of roast character.

A nice smooth black bier with the extra hoppiness of a strong IPA. Black with some reddish tinting, thin head, but leaves a strong impression on the palate. Would be much better enjoyed in the winter months....

12 ounce thanks to MP. Big chocolate and creamy taste. Lots of roast for sure. Nice hop aroma and balance. Pleasantly surprised.

Nice citruic hops and a dark malt character. Not the strongest aroma or taste but it is pretty delicious. Not the best but better than most black IPAs. Overall a pretty enjoyable beer. Also, Let it warm up a little bit, it gets better. $12/4 pk is a little on the pricey side for this one.

Massive in every way, B-Craft delivers a complex bundle of flavors with a citrus hop aroma strong enough to make a billy goat shake his head. Moving past the huge hop aroma, rich and roasted malt flavors of chocolate and coffee move forward only to be checked by an impressive hop bitterness. Texture and flavor dance together so seamlessly that you may need to remind yourself that while this beer slides down like a session, it delivers like an assassin!”

Bottle brought by and shared with my brother - thanks ck1! Pours dark brown with a super foamy head. Arcoma has vegetal celery and plastic. It did have faint caramel notes and some dark fruit, but was overwhelmed by the celery/plastic combination. Taste is a syrupy bitter bakers chocolate with caramel sweetness and dark fruit. Finishes somewhat dry, a bit vegetal and with some bittersweet fruit. Taste was ok, just not a good smell.

12oz bottle from Plum market in Ann Arbor. Brown-black pour with a thin light tan head. Aroma is spicy herbal hops, dark malts and grapefruit. Tastes are toasted malts, sweet citrus, grass, pine and chocolate. Nice slick medium to thin texture. Even and well constructed brew that makes for a strange sipper. Less roasty than a lot of bipa’s - which is good by me.

Bottle: pours dense chocolate brown, thinnish fan head that does stick around, some lacing. Deep, musty, roasted malts, pine, dark fruits, citrus hop profile. Interesting. More pine resin, roasted malts, hint of chocolate and vanilla, sweet then more demonstrative hop bitterness that leads to long dryness on the finish. Medium bodied and quite drinkable as there's a bit of spiciness from the heat and ABV but surely not overwhelming here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black and thick. No head. Sweet hop aroma. Not very strong aroma. Not a bad, double IPA, but I have had a lot better.

Bottle. Served in a cervoise. Pours near black with a thin off-white head. Nose has some odd fruitiness. Not a big fan. Some roast and hops. Flavor is fruit with some earth and pine. Medium body. A bit bitter. Odd fruit. Didn't like it much. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Aroma has notes of citrus, grapefruit, pine, roasted malts, vanilla and a little licorice. Very interesting and good. Very dark brown that sits black in the glass. Small mostly diminishing tan head that left some lace. Flavor is medium sweet and heavy bitter. Palate is full bodied and average. Overall a very good brew that really surprised me. I can’t get enough of that aroma. Great stuff! Well done Arcadia!
