Taste is grapefruit and bitterness. An excellent DIPA! Roast is muted in both aroma and taste. Clear black color with medium body.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a very dark brownish black with a light brown rim of head. Aroma is a malt, sweet berry and plesant. Taste is of malt, roast and short lived with a weak finish of hopps. it seems like the beer is stuck between an Ipa and a stout which might be appealing for some. pretty good beer.

2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
From a bottle, very friendly aromatic perfume for the olfactory. Big black pour. Yezzah, this big black medicine is pumping across my taste buds like a tsunami, wew werweewrwew THERE YOU HAVE IT. one of the nastiest dark beers for a while. Strong bold big business; imagine the best impy stout brewer getting together with the best dipa brewer and put them in a press and wallah. Finish is the same big rude awakening, bleahayahah. Aroma and look keep this from being a total bomb for a lager lover.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark mahogany color with a small beige head. The aroma had roasted malts, light citrus notes, light resin, and some berries. The flavor was pretty close to the nose; roasted malts, light citrus and resin with a shot of berry. Finish adds a touch of ash with a lasting bitterness. Interesting enough.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Roasted grain, resin, spruce, citrus, molasses, licorice, soy sauce, and raisins find there way via aroma to my nostrils. A firm pour into a snifter does not produce much head, and it dissipates quickly. The taste has a hint of dry white wine, followed by bitterness and a touch of umami. It is a bit light in body and thin for an 8.5% ale, but the long umami tinged finish makes up for that. A fine double black IPA, but not sublime...

Ilikeitalot. Big roast and malt flavor are perfectly balance with the dipa. Very pleasant aroma. One of the more satisfying brews I've had.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
A nice smooth black bier with the extra hoppiness of a strong IPA. Black with some reddish tinting, thin head, but leaves a strong impression on the palate. Would be much better enjoyed in the winter months....

12 ounce thanks to MP. Big chocolate and creamy taste. Lots of roast for sure. Nice hop aroma and balance. Pleasantly surprised.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice citruic hops and a dark malt character. Not the strongest aroma or taste but it is pretty delicious. Not the best but better than most black IPAs. Overall a pretty enjoyable beer.
Also, Let it warm up a little bit, it gets better. $12/4 pk is a little on the pricey side for this one.

Massive in every way, B-Craft delivers a complex bundle of flavors with a citrus hop aroma strong enough to make a billy goat shake his head. Moving past the huge hop aroma, rich and roasted malt flavors of chocolate and coffee move forward only to be checked by an impressive hop bitterness. Texture and flavor dance together so seamlessly that you may need to remind yourself that while this beer slides down like a session, it delivers like an assassin!”
