Massive in every way, B-Craft delivers a complex bundle of flavors with citrus-hop aroma. Moving beyond the massive hop aroma, rich roasted malt flavors of coffee and chocolate move forward only to be checked by an impressive hop bitterness. Texture and flavor dance together so seamlessly that you may need to remind yourself that, while it drinks like a session, it delivers like an assassin.

12 oz bottle. The pour is a nice dark, dark brown, with ruby hues around the edges. There wasn't a lot of head, and the lace that was left was spotty, at best. The aroma is more malty and perhaps a touch of caramel than hops. Not really what I was expecting for a black DIPA. The flavor mimicked that aroma. Not overwhelmingly powerful in the hop character. It's pretty solid, but missing out on a lot of the good IPA characters. It's almost like a thin porter than a black IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark brown with ruby highlights, a huge tan head that overflowed the glass after only emptying half the bottle. Retention was great leaving a big creamy dollop behind and great lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel and biscuit with some dark fruit. Taste caramel and fig with some roastiness and a bit of smoke and pine bitterness. Finished semi dry with lingering smooth bitterness. Mouthfeel is soft and medium bodied with a medium high carbonation. My bottle was 7 months old so was probably passed its prime and lost some of its hop character. Was decent.

12oz. bottle. Aroma of piney, earthy, lightly fruity hops and dark, roasty, toasty malts, with notes of spruce, faint cocoa and cola. Clear deep, dark brown in color with a very slight head. Flavor profile is nicely balanced with nutty, bittersweet, roasted malts, faint molasses and licorice, piney, floral, earthy hops and a moderately strong dosage of hop spice and bitterness towards the long finish. Full and very lightly warming on the palate, body is just substantial enough. Interesting and tasty rendition.

Dark reddish brown almost black colour with a small tan head. Aroma: Nice bitterish hops with some darker malts. Flavour: Dry dark hops and mildly toasted malt. Tasty. A good one.

tap. Deep brown/ near black with one finger head. Big roasty malt body with hops to match. Bitter finish. Pretty decent for the style.

Pours a dark reddish-brown with a 2-inch tan head. The initial nose suggests toasted grain, smokiness, and density. Medium full body with rich, smoky notes on the palate. Nice bitter lingering. Belgian lace. The ABV is not noticeable. Modest carbonation. Delicious. Would be excellent with grilled and smoked food. Will seek again.

The aroma of this brew is a combination of roasted malts, caramel malts, and floral hops that hits you in the face, and the appearance has a clear, very dark garnet color with a large, pillowy, off-white head, which is gorgeous. The taste is mildly bitter, mildly umami, and a touch sweet, and the palate fuses a medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation, and a long finish that is merely an extension of the hearty, malty, and bitter taste.

Pours very dark, almost black. Thin off-white head that lasts the whole beer. No lacing at all. Aroma is dark-roast and sugary malt. Mouthfeel is creamy. A sort of astringent roast flavor. Not much in the way of hop aroma or flavor.
