Massive in every way, B-Craft delivers a complex bundle of flavors with citrus-hop aroma. Moving beyond the massive hop aroma, rich roasted malt flavors of coffee and chocolate move forward only to be checked by an impressive hop bitterness. Texture and flavor dance together so seamlessly that you may need to remind yourself that, while it drinks like a session, it delivers like an assassin.

Hands down one of my top 10 favorite beers. Complex citrus, hop and malt blend of flavors. All around great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle bought on a trip to Michigan. Black with red notes and a one finger tan head. A layer of lacing remains. This is not fresh. The aroma is rich malts. Those are tasted and are roasted. The hops might have faded some. They are not big. Orange is tasted along with grass. A bit of cocoa. Hops are citrus and mildly bitter. A nice feel. An interesting beer and a complex one. Nicely done.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2012 The bottle was courtesy of Strykzone. Poured black with a good tan head and moderate lacing,. Nose of roasted malts, and pine, citrus, and grassy hops. Medium body. Smooth mouthfeel with a hint of alcohol. Flavor is roasted malts showing coffee, dark ripe fruit, earth, and hop flavors with and cirrus. Finish is lightly bitter dry. Very tasty with a lot of lingering flavors.

there is a fine balance of black malts for me and my Black IPAs. This one is over the line. Just not my style. The acrid malts overshadow the hops.

Bottle pours solid black with tan foam. The aroma is sweet roasted grains and fruity hops. The taste is grainy with a light sweetness but with a moderate roast and generous hops it comes off bittering and dry. The hops carry an earthy bitter and light hearted fruity character, some pear, peach, red grape. Interesting take on the style, more stout with large amounts of hops. Fairly complex and unique flavors, pretty solid overall.

Pretty black with a one finger head and not bad thin spots of fine lace. Astringent smell with piney notes, lots of hops, burnt malts, some alcohol. Taste is very piney, lots of hops again, chocolate, roasted and burnt malts, a little dark fruit. Body is kind of slick, low on carbonation, a little syrupy, alcohol is quite notable going down with plenty of warming. Overall itís pretty tasty but wonít be one of my favorites from Arcadia.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark black pour with nice off white/tan head, aroma brought notes of pine, grass, orange peel, slight mint leading into nice roast, toffee, chocolate, and coffee notes, hints of earth and a slight spice in there as well. Taste is a mix of roast, toffee, caramel, some nice grass, floral, and pine, finishing fairly bitter and dry, nice.

12oz 4pack purchased at Spirits Crosroads right before Hurricane/Extra-tropical storm Sandy or whatever the fuck they want to call this monster. Poured a good looking medium density super dark brown body with a smaller foamy beige head. Aroma of lots of citrus notes, pineapple and tropical fruit notes, no real roastiness that I was looking forward to. Body has a medium mouthfeel with average carbonation and average to slightly softer carbonation with a touch of lingering bitterness on the end. Flavor also is missing that roastiness that I so love, notes of pineapple, tropical fruit notes, old grapefruits, bad citrus and some slight hints of burnt toast. For a DIPA itís okay for a black DIPA itís dissapointing.

Had both on draft at Ashley's and the bottle. Smell of mostly roasted malt. Tastes of roasted grain and very little else. Heavy mouthfeel for the style, but no real flavor to enjoy here. Bland, amd no hop bite. Another miss by Arcadia. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The pour is black with a white head that leaves lacing. The aroma is very hoppy with a little bit of a roastiness blended it. The taste starts out very creamy and light. It finishes bitter but still very smooth and quite drinkable at 8.5%. I canít believe this is an IPA! Awesome complexity! Love this!
