SuIIy (1109), W Newton, Massachusetts, USA Nov 5, 2005 Cask @ arcadia. Sample from the manager/brewer? who said it was the london porter with a certain malt removed and this would eventually be aged to become the bourbon barrel porter. Pours a black color with a creamy light tan head. Nose is lots of chocolate malt with a hint of bourbon. Very creamy mouthfeel. Notes of chocolate and coffee with some light smoke malt. Finishes with a slight warming.
