Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Flanagan’s in Appleton, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy dirty orange amber brew containing particles with a thick and lumpy off white head. Aroma of roasted caramel malt, some grassy and citrus hops, a touch of dried herbs and light brown sugar. Taste is metallic, very acidic with a tart caramel flavor. This could be an infected bottle due to the high carbonation and dark particles. Willing to try and rate again.

Apr 17, 2008 Drank at a Battlecats game in 2003. For baseball park beer, pretty good stuff. Basic run of the mill, Bud equivalent, but with enough malt and hops to provide some decent "real" flavor.

Apr 27, 2006 Over carbonation produces a huge foamy head and negative influence for the taste and palate. Interesting and pleasant aroma that I couldn’t identify. Light, crisp taste with a hint of hops, but a little watery. More trouble to pour than it’s worth.

Apr 4, 2006 It had a very large head and was gold in color. I actually had to remove some of the head to drink this one. The taste was nothing special.

Mar 27, 2006 Pours a slightly effervescent golden with some small yeast floaties and a huge, over-carbonated pillowy, airy white head that takes a long time to subside. Sweet Belgian malt and candi sugar are balanced with some earthy hops in the aroma along with some floral bready yeastiness. Body explodes in the mouth releasing even more carbonation with a little sweetness before a much more bitter, earthy dryness takes over, thinning some toward an airy finish. Not really sure what style to consider this, but I’d hardly call it a special reserve.
