Draft. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate resin hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Draft at Crunchy’s, East Lansing. Slightly hazy straw body, medium dense creamy off-white head. Soapy, herbal hops nose with grassy notes and hints of clover honey. Slightly tangy body with appleskin; floral; rather dry and grassy with light bubblegum and hints of white grape. Light and pleasant.

Bomber bottle from Champanes,
this beer had an orange-yellow gold pour with a touch of haze, and made a one finger white head, the effervescence was a little less than medium in the glass, it left some spots and small fingers of lacing on the glass, and there was some loose sediment in the bottle that left specks in the last pour of the bottle,
the aromas were citrus and gras hops, pear and orange fruit, mild toasted malt, a little fruit and malt sweetness,
this ale had flavors of lemon and orange citrus, and faint grass hops with light malt and fruit,
there was a light bitterness after the finish,
the mouth feel was light on the palate, easy to drink,
a nice, light fruity ale.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2013 just picked up a fresh bottle bumping my rating on taste , plate and overall .from the bottle. poured a straw color with no head. aroma pine, citrus, sugar, like bwa5879 said like a double/imperial ipa. flavor pine, sticky sweetness, herbs, good beer

Draft to pint. Looks decent; a little light though. Smells and tastes pretty good; light and hoppy. Nice on the palate. Pretty good stuff.

Amazing beer. Brewed specifically for the Kalamazoo marathon. Served in English pint glass at Arcadia and I hear it will be sold in 22oz singles at the race tent. Very Hoppy aroma. Clear gold appearance with half inch or so white head. This has a rye character with lots of hops. Similar to some double/imperial ipas I’ve had actually. Grapefruit and salty pale ale finish. Amazing beer and one of the best from an already fine brewery. I wish it could be purchased year round.
