Pours a dark brown with a bit of tan head. The aroma is very chocolatey. The flavor instantly reminded me of Nestle Quik. Pretty yummy. Very creamy palate. Csbosox bought this bottle while a group of us was at Waldo Pizza. Thanks Chris.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours jet black with a decent off-white creamy head. Pretty nose: notes of dark and milk chocolate and roasted malt. Quite lush and creamy on the palate. Loads of milk chocolate, malted barley, oatmeal, molasses and cream on the palate. Great stuff! Truthfully, I was surprised. Silky and lush.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep brown-burgundy body with a lasting tan head. Very nice chocolate-caramel, molasses and black currant aromas. Sweet and decadent, but has a level balance of acid, alcohol, roast, and hop bitterness. Has some savory mushroom qualities as well. This owes homage to Bells Special Double Cream Stout, but is very distinct too. Complex sweet stouts are a weakness of mine. I could eat this one for breakfast.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled from a 220z bomber. Pitch black with bubbled ring of beige head. Aroams of coffee and bittersweet chocolate. Anise and dark fruit. Good roasty nose. Medium bodied with good malts. Notes of coffee and spice. Coffee bitterness with sticky finish. Good flavor, but a tad light.

Arcadia Cocoa Loco Triple Chocolate Stout
22 ox bomber
Moderate pour in a mug
Unknown brewing, crazied 06/07
Poured black with some brown highlights with a moderate frothy somewhat lasting brown head.
Smelt of moderate roasted grain, chocolate, molasses and light green hops.
Taste was upfront moderate bitter sweet baker’s chocolate, roasted grain and some odd light bitter sour green grain taste followed by some strong bitter chocolate and molasses on a long finish.
Palate was light to medium bodied, softly carbonated, lightly creamy and light to moderately carbonated.
Overall, I was surprised at how light bodied this beer was. A good summer time stout. Lots of new interesting flavors, but it seems to lack character and depth. Just plain pleasurable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours deep black with a brown head. Lots of sweet chocolate malt in the aroma. Sweet and smooth taste. A milky chocolate flavor with a little backend bitterness, but it tastes alot like an iced mocha. Pretty easy to drink.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours black with a fully receding tan head. Aroma of dark crystal, chocolate, and lactose. Taste is roast, chocolate, dark crystal, and a slightly oxidized note. Mouthfeel is full bodied with lively carbonation. Not bad, but not impressed.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle. Fairly dark black and brown colored body with a creamy dark tan head. Nose has some faint burnt plastic, smoke and some charred grains. Peppery and zesty up front, some lactic sourness present, some chocolate malts and some pasty burnt milk flavors. Finish is dry, roasty, with char and tar flavors. I wasn’t expecting much from the score but I find myself really enjoying this beer.
