| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 29, 2008 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear amber golden with a rough off-white head. Caramel, fruits, hops and alcohol in the nose. Quite full-bodied with a solid malt base that balances the distinct bitterness and alcohol rather nicely. But perhaps the hop profile is not the most sophisticated. 210908 MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Having tried a few other Arcadia ales, I was weary to buy a four-pack of this one. However, when Binny’s started breaking this up into single bottles, I decided what the hell. Pours amber with a sticky head. Nose is of lots of great hops, and some astringent. Nice piney, citrus hoppy flavor and caramel malt, though it could use a bit more malt. Mouthfeel is average, I expected a little more. Alcohol is present in the flavor and adds to the solvent-like quality. Overall, I was impressed, but that’s because I wasn’t expecting much. TEJA (285), Stockholm, Sweden

Rather small hop aroma and some solvents present. A big hop taste with some bitterness followed by a small clean caramell taste to give a dry finnish. Svesse (2613), Hässelby, Sweden
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 8, 2008 (Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Amber colour with a big, frothy, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of orange peel, grapefruit, pine needles and caramel. Fruity, malty taste with grapefruit, orange peel, black-currant, pine needles and resin. Long hoppy finish with a touch too much alcohol and sweetness coming through to give it a perfect balance. But still, if you love your hops, it’s a very nice one.
