Commercial Description:
Anniversaries are meant to be celebrated, and as we looked back on 11 years of “balance in beer,” we decided to take a walk on the wild side with this year’s Anniversary Ale. Our brewers were finally turned loose to craft a beer that’s focused on the hops, and the result is Hop Rocket… Arcadia’s 11th Anniversary Ale.

Hop Rocket is a veritable constellation of hops… including some varieties that we haven’t used in other beers, and it’s delivered by the same booster of worldclass malt that our loyal fans have come to know and love with all Arcadia Ales. We appreciate the opportunity to share with you this “launch” of our 12th years, and we hope you’ll enjoy the ride with Arcadia Hop Rocket!

Thanks polomagnifico. Pours a thick amber with a creamy one finger offwhite head. Very resinous hoppy aroma, citrusy, grapefruit and oranges, honey, light alcohol, spicy. The flavor is waxy, bitter, grapefruit peel, citrusy, light alcohol, spicy. Very waxy warm mouthfeel, very dominant bitterness. Nice hop presence.

Bottle: Bright golden orange with a large, creamy sand colored head. Aroma is lively with citrus and plenty of sweetness. Light florals. Tastes of citrus and florals, the caramel malt makes an appearance. ABV is also detectable, maybe more than desirable. Still, a load of hops and a nice malt package. Thanks Pepsican!

Thanks to pepsican for the bottle. Clear orange with medium head. Great aroma of tropical fruit (pineapple), grapefruit and pine with a hint of caramel. Taste is somewhat of a letdown, with a lot of balancing caramel coming through (could be as it warms) Very sweet with a nice hop signature.

12 oz bottle. Another Imperial IPA. Smells of Grapefruit. Initial taste a bit too piney. A rocket for sure. Not balanced, but I guess the name warns you. Reminds me of a high-priced Hop Wallop from Victory. Eat a peach.

Thanks to JCB for this! slightly hazy amber with thick off white head and some spotty lacing. Pineapple aroma. Fresh hop flavor. Well balanced between malts and hops. alcohol extremely well masked. Very refreshing after mowing the lawn

Bottle 355ml?
Appearance: Clear amber , cloudy brew with neat bright white top
Nose : Strong hop aroma. Citric with pineapple and strawberries , late peach.
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied , slightly harsh overload cacophony of various fruit hop flavours. Good example of brewmaster going over the top .

Pours a murky orange color with thin white head. Aroma is of hops, caramel and citrus. Very balanced taste, very hoppy and sweet malt backbone. Finish is slightly bitter with a hint of honey. This one is very smooth, no way would I guess it was 9%.

Bottle from D’s Six Pax. I only paid $2.50 for this, surprisingly enough. Pours clear golden orange, off white head. Aroma is hoppy and fuzzy with sweet citrus and kiwi. I smell caramel but no peat, so we’re off to a good start. Flavor is hoppy, bittter, caramel, vanilla, some fruit. Could stand to be crisper and more floral, but overall I’m not complaining!
