LtJudge (359), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Apr 25, 2008 Pours a hazy dark gold color with a nice off white head.Great sweet, almost candy-like hop aroma, with citrus and pine aromas. Flavor is of hops, and more hops with just a touch of malt backing. Great bitter finish that lasts and lasts!! Well done!
flatmatt (113), Northville, Michigan, USA Oct 25, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours orange amber with some floating debris and a stable off-white head. Aroma very citrusy hops with a touch of spiciness and a definite sweetness, but a little weak overall. Flavor is nice and hoppy citrus with a bit of sweetness. Nice bitterness, but a bit of alcohol pokes through in the flavor. Bitter, dry finish with some biscuit flavors. A pretty nice, simple IIPA. DuffMan (2139), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 21, 2008 GABF 2008. Clear bright golden colour, resinous aroma with detectable sweet malts. Palate is a little on the thin side for a beer this size, but the hop quotient is there with lots of grapefruit and resin. ratman197 (2484), Arvada, Colorado, USA Oct 16, 2008 GABF 2008 poured a clear gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of pine, earthiness, orange, grapefruit and light straw. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a lightly dry fin ish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, pine and grapefruit rind with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish. oh6gdx (6460), Vaasa, Finland Sep 29, 2008 Bottled@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, peach, flowery and wooden hops along with some rather grassy notes. Flavour is much the same. Mild nectary notes in the finish. Pleasant. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 29, 2008 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear amber golden with a rough off-white head. Caramel, fruits, hops and alcohol in the nose. Quite full-bodied with a solid malt base that balances the distinct bitterness and alcohol rather nicely. But perhaps the hop profile is not the most sophisticated. 210908
