Poured a copper/red color. Taste is typical pine notes, hints grapefruit, that ends with a hop bite. There are malty notes throughout, just enought to balance everything. This beer is pretty good, but fairly uninspiring when compared to the rest of the DIPA market. Good beer, but definitely not the best.

Dec 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours red orange with a beige head. Sweet hoppy aroma with citrus fruits. The flavor is well balanced with sweet malt and citric hops. Pretty good.

Nov 28, 2008 Arcadia Hopmouth Double IPA is a hazy amber ale with a dense, off-white head that has great lacing and retention. It has a piney aroma. It is medium bodied, soft and foamy, with a clean finish. It’s a little sweet, juicy, citrusy, resiny and piney. It has good balance. A great IPA!

Nov 28, 2008 Strong hops on the nose....citrusy grapefruit most prevalent. Hops present front to back in the flavor...grapefruit, piney resin....also a decent malt presence.

Nov 27, 2008 I was a little surprised I hadn’t had this beer already. Pours a copper color with a thin off white head. Big hop aroma of citrus and pine. Well balanced. I thought this was a very solid imperial IPA. Great flavor.
