| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 9, 2007 Pours a very dark nearly black color with ruby highlights, thin beige head and some lace. Aroma is moslty chocolate, with intense fruity esters- dired fruits- raisins, also lots of sugary sweetness- brown sugar, and molasses. Syrupy sweet flavor, chocolate malts, light on the roast, fruits, a bit of dirty yeast, and even some funk, with an acrid burnt syrupy sweet finish. Ok overall, but I wanted more roast and coffee in this.
