Commercial Description:
Black as coal in color, this bottle conditioned Stout has a velvety rich and sweet malt aroma. After pouring, a dense brown head gives way to a big, full-bodied and creamy texture that has flavors of roasted coffee and black currants, blending perfectly with the malt. A generous amount of hops add balance and complexity to this extraordinary stout that will continue to improve with age. A worthy beer to cellar and enjoy throughout the year.

12oz bottle from The Party Source. Black pour with a medium tan head. Dark fruit in the nose along with coffee and chocolate. Chocolate malty flavor with dark fruit and a dry coffee finish. Exceeded my expectations.

Bottle courtesy of corby112. Strong coffee flavor with chocolate. Good roasted molasses aroma that hits your nose right away. Dark black with dark brown foamy head. Creamy mouthfeel. Rich but not syrupy or thick. Very tastey down to the last drop.

Black pour with a thick, lasting tan head. Soft roasty aroma with hints of cocoa, and fig. Not a very pronounced aroma for an imperial. Very bitter dark chocolate flavor with a sharp coffee notes and some dry piny hops. A little woody too. Oily full mouth feel with lots of carbonation.

Bottle 12fl.oz.
Clear dark black color with a average, frothy, good, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is light heavy malty, caramel, milk chocolate, dusty, vanilla, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, and a dusty finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090116]

12 oz bottle. Pours a pitch black with a small brown head. Mild coffee nose with a roasted malt background. Smooth, velvety palate with minimal carbonation and a substantial body. Flavor is a nice blend of mild coffee, molasses, roasted malt and dark fruit. Gets a bit boozy as it warms up.
