Clear dark black color with a average, frothy, good, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is light heavy malty, caramel, milk chocolate, dusty, vanilla, light alcohol. A pitch black beer with a disappearing dark brown head. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet with notes of chocolate and roasted malt.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Completely opaque black with a light brown head. Aroma of dried and overripe fruit as well as some alcohol. Rather full-bodied with lots of sweetish, roasted malt and accents of raisins in rum. Some bitterness in the finish. A nice one. 150807

Completely black with brown head. Striking aroma of chocoalate and dried fruits. Sweet and peppery, perhaps less malty than some other imperial stouts, notes of raisin. Hoppy salty finish.

Bottled. Quite much pitch black colour with a small and longlasting beigeish brown head that leaves some lace. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, liquorice as well as quite strong toffee, mild spices and some alcohol. Flavour is liquorice, roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and some toffeeish and mildly alcohol and raisiny notes. Wellbalanced, and rather fullbodied (thick palate).

Black color. The aroma is mild, with soft roasted malt, coffee, milky, vanilla. Good body structure in the front, getting drier later; the flavor is a quite good mix of caramel, malt, with a touch of sweet liquorice coffee and vanilla. Good.
