Dry-hopped with Columbus hops in our open fermenters, our IPA boasts a bright floral aroma and flavor reminiscent of pine and lemon peel. The pronounced hop bitterness is balanced by a medium-bodied caramel and biscuity malt character with a nutty finish. It showcases many subtle earthy bitter notes, rather than the resinous citrus-rind bite often featured in many American-style IPA’s.

The hop character on this is a little different than a run-of-the-mill IPA, I’d say, more of a floral perfumy kind of thing than citrus and pine. It is a very cloudy orange beer w/ an oversized head of mixed bubbles. Nose is lavender baby powder with maybe a hint of grapefruit zest. The big head on this makes me think it was over-carbonated in the bottles and like most over-carbonated beers, it (somewhat counter-intuitively) pours a bit flat, which is a shame because this is an otherwise nice IPA. It has a nice floral character and clean, crip bitterness in the finish balance by a touch of malt sweetness. I will hopefully remember to pick some of this up again and see if this wasn’t just an off batch--which I suspect it was.

Bottle - dark copper color with small soapy head. Aroma - pretty blah for an ipa. Muted resin hops, thats it. Taste - caramel malt up front with metallic tasting hops, not good. Palate - thin soapy mothfeel. Finish is bitter and off taste that lingers. Overall - below average ipa. Tastes more like a APA, not a high quality beer.

Pours a clear amber-orange with a rocky cream-colored head that leaves some soapy lace as it settles. Nose involves pine, florals, herbal notes, light caramel, and some citrus zest. LIghtly sweet, quite bitter. Medium bodied, a bit grainy, somewhat oily, bright, with a long piney hop finish. Good, balanced English-American IPA. Really drinkable, definitely not over the top or in your face, as announced. I think it’s a bit underrated.

On tap at Dan's. The pour is a clearish gold, with notes of amber. There is a nice white head that fades down quickly with some great lacing. The aroma is big on the citrus fruits. The piney resin comes blasting in and then rolls through a good hoppiness on the back end. The flavor is a little more reserved. There is more of a malty presence up front moving through a light nuttiness before the hops and bitterness kick back in. The mouth feel is a bit light, with a minimal carbonation and an aftertaste that is se what awkwardly nutty but bitter ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Pours hazy orange/amber with a small, off-white head. Breadheel, caramel, earthy hop aroma. Taste is subdued, lightly peppery/earthy hop bittering..caramel malt, florals. Pretty good...nothing exciting, but fairly solid.

Golden color with a white head. Aroma is piney, earthy hops. Not as intense as I expect from an IPA. Taste is similar to the nose, maybe a tad bit vinegary. Good feel, but lackluster taste and nose.
