COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry-hopped with Columbus hops in our open fermenters, our IPA boasts a bright floral aroma and flavor reminiscent of pine and lemon peel. The pronounced hop bitterness is balanced by a medium-bodied caramel and biscuity malt character with a nutty finish. It showcases many subtle earthy bitter notes, rather than the resinous citrus-rind bite often featured in many American-style IPAís.

Clear bronze pour with a 2 finger, fluffy beige head that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is caramel, toffee, sweet crystal malt, lots of pine, some citrus and a little sweet grass. Flavor is full of pine, some bitter citrus, sweet crystal malt, caramel, earthy, spicy hops, light fruity esters and a slightly medicinal bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily, sticky and dry feel and light, but sharp carbonation. Meh, not terrible, but not good as far as IPAs go.

The appearance of this beer combines many gorgeous elements: red legs and streaks throughout the beer, an orange color, and a large head that stays on top of the liquid; also, the aroma combines citrus and floral hoppiness with a hint of diacetyl. The taste is quite bitter and mildly sweet, which results in a very nice balance, and the palate combines a medium body, average carbonation, a sticky texture, and a bitter finish.

An orange amber hued color with a medium off white lasting head with some light lacing. Aroma is of pine and floral hops, some grapefruit notes with caramel malt. Taste is sweet caramel malt, yeast fruity grapefruit notes with some floral pine hops bitterness. A medium body, smooth sweet bitter flavor with good carbonation on the palate. Ending is a combination of sweet caramel malt, yeast, mild grapefruit with some floral pine hops for balance. A very good, tasty and enjoyable brew.

Bottle from Wegmans. Pours clear copper with a small off white head and light carbonation. The aroma has some earthy hops, citrus, caramel. The taste has a big citrus kick with a medium duration bitterness that follows.. middle of the road but not bad.

Appearance: I took it out of the fridge, cracked it open, and foam nearly poured all over me... I managed to get a glass just in time. I hadnít even stood it up or anything, it just did it without any bottle shaking or anything. A bit ridiculous. Huge head that went 50/50 with the beer in my glass ... four or five fingers. The beerís a pretty hazy burnt orange color, and the headís off-white with some little particles in it to make it look like vanilla bean ice cream, and itís super bubbly. The lacing lasts all glass long as well. Iíd go higher on the appearance, but the head lasts so long itís hard to get the whole bottle of beer into the glass. Smell: Honestly, a bit of a dish soap-like smell, with some very shy hop aromas. The malts arenít there too much in the smell either. I figured this was a bit unique, and Iím guessing itís because itís an English IPA -- I havenít had one of these before. Taste: Much like the smell... for an IPA, really subdued and dubbed down. As I said, I havenít had an EIPA before, so this could well be how itís supposed to be. Really a rather light tasting IPA, with a pretty light bitterness ... super refreshing. Some slight floral hoppiness and then spiciness on the finish, and then a nice bit of malt for the balance. An extremely inoffensive IPA that would be awesome on a hot day. Quite frankly, this tastes like a pale ale with a just a bit more hops thrown in. I like this one quite a lot... a rather unique take on an IPA (yet again, could be because itís of the English variety), and itís very easy drinking. Would be pretty much the perfect IPA to drink after a long summer day, as itís not cloying, isnít too bitter, and is insanely drinkable. Very tasty IPA.
