Dry-hopped with Columbus hops in our open fermenters, our IPA boasts a bright floral aroma and flavor reminiscent of pine and lemon peel. The pronounced hop bitterness is balanced by a medium-bodied caramel and biscuity malt character with a nutty finish. It showcases many subtle earthy bitter notes, rather than the resinous citrus-rind bite often featured in many American-style IPA’s.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2014 Bottle: Dad this one a few times and could never really get stoked on it. Hazy golden body, usually with yeast-looking sediment and a thin, white cap on top. Aroma is very light for an IPA; mild citrus peels, leaves, and an equally matching maltiness, sweet bread, toast, biscuits. Taste is... okay, it’s just kind of boring. Light hoppage with some mild citric notes, a bit of oily bitterness, leafy. Malt is heavy again, lots of back-end clumpy biscuit and bready notes, leading to a sweeter finish. Just uninspired, not really much going on. Far from bad, but really kind of mundane.

Clear bronze pour with a 2 finger, fluffy beige head that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is caramel, toffee, sweet crystal malt, lots of pine, some citrus and a little sweet grass. Flavor is full of pine, some bitter citrus, sweet crystal malt, caramel, earthy, spicy hops, light fruity esters and a slightly medicinal bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily, sticky and dry feel and light, but sharp carbonation. Meh, not terrible, but not good as far as IPAs go.

The appearance of this beer combines many gorgeous elements: red legs and streaks throughout the beer, an orange color, and a large head that stays on top of the liquid; also, the aroma combines citrus and floral hoppiness with a hint of diacetyl. The taste is quite bitter and mildly sweet, which results in a very nice balance, and the palate combines a medium body, average carbonation, a sticky texture, and a bitter finish.

An orange amber hued color with a medium off white lasting head with some light lacing. Aroma is of pine and floral hops, some grapefruit notes with caramel malt. Taste is sweet caramel malt, yeast fruity grapefruit notes with some floral pine hops bitterness. A medium body, smooth sweet bitter flavor with good carbonation on the palate. Ending is a combination of sweet caramel malt, yeast, mild grapefruit with some floral pine hops for balance. A very good, tasty and enjoyable brew.

Bottle from Wegmans. Pours clear copper with a small off white head and light carbonation. The aroma has some earthy hops, citrus, caramel. The taste has a big citrus kick with a medium duration bitterness that follows.. middle of the road but not bad.
